Washington C. С̹½ÊÓÆµ Lifetime Society

Recognizing benefactors who show significant lifetime giving.

Washington C. С̹½ÊÓÆµ Lifetime Society members are champions of transformation and excellence furthering the University’s mission by supporting new initiatives and elevating existing programs. 

Named in honor of one of С̹½ÊÓÆµâ€™s most generous benefactors, the Washington C. С̹½ÊÓÆµ Lifetime Society was established in 1987 to recognize С̹½ÊÓÆµ alumni and friends whose transformational support enhances the quality of teaching and learning for students today and long into the future. The Washington C. С̹½ÊÓÆµ Lifetime Society honors individuals whose irrevocable contributions to С̹½ÊÓÆµ over their lifetimes or through their estates total $100,000 or more.

This prestigious group of donors are recognized and celebrated for their tremendous support.  Society members may specify degrees of anonymity for participation in the society to ensure their privacy.  

Qualifying gifts include:

  • Cash, including matching gifts

  • Securities or other appreciated assets

  • Irrevocable planned gifts, including funded charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and charitable gift annuities

  • Gifts in kind, including real estate, with value substantiated by appraisal
